Epilepsy is a mental disorder in which nerve cell activity in the brain gets disturbed, causing seizures, unusual behavior, sensations and sometimes it may cause loss of awareness in a person. Epilepsy can occur as a result of a genetic disorder or because of a brain injury, such as a trauma or stroke. This can happen to both males and females with the same effects and symptoms.
Symptoms of Epilepsy
- Temporary confusion
- Staring spell
- Continuous jerking movements of the arms and legs
- Loss of consciousness.
- Excessive Fear and anxiety.
